Triangle Digital Ventures acquires technology and media business specializing in corporate carve outs, mature startups, and special situations. According to their LinkedIn profiles, Jordan Stopler and Mo Lam founded Triangle Digital Ventures in September 2016. According to a 2018 press release from Newswire, Triangle Digital Ventures acquired the Peterson’s brand and its family of products on December 31, 2017.

As of January 2020, Lam is a partner at Triangle Digital Ventures and serves as the President and CFO of Peterson’s. Stolper lists his titles as Managing Director of Triangle Digital Ventures and CEO of Peterson’s.

Petersons.com offers products and services to keep students and their families engaged with the educational experience through college search tools, scholarship search tools, test prep, editing services, marketing services, research, publishing, data licensing, and a memory retention system through Dean Vaughn.

In January 2020, Petersons.com was among the top three percentile of the one million highest ranking sites in the Ahrefs database. According to a January 2020 snapshot from Ahrefs, Petersons.com had an Ahrefs Rank (AR) of 21,783 in the database of over 100 million websites, making it one of the top sites.
