ideaLaunch, Inc. was incorporated in Delaware and Massachusetts under the original name of LifeTips.com, Inc. in August 2000. The company was briefly dissolved in Massachusetts in 2008 before being reinstated in 2012 and renamed to ideaLaunch, the name it currently operates under, as of January 2020.

The company's founder, Byron White, is listed on the corporate documents, available publicly through the Massachusetts state website, as holding seven positions in the company:

• President again, there is no distinction indicated on the company documents for this duplicate role
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Vice President
• "Other Officer"
• Director

Though the company appears to have been incorporated in Delaware continuously since 2000, corporate records are not as publicly available in Delaware so it is difficult to be sure.

Byron White companies associated with ideaLaunch over time

The various ideaLaunch projects owned by Byron White have existed as their own corporate entities in the past. The state of Massachusetts makes corporate documents publicly available on the state website and these documents include the dates of formation and dissolution for the ideaLaunch, Writer Access, and LifeTips companies:

• 2000: LifeTips.com, Inc. was incorporated in August in both Delaware (DE) and Massachusetts (MA).
• 2008: LifeTips.com, Inc. was dissolved in March, in MA, appears to have remained active in DE.
• 2011: Writer Access, Inc. was incorporated in May in MA only.
• 2012: Writer Access, Inc. was dissolved in early May.
• 2012: LifeTips.com, Inc. was reinstated in late May in MA.
• 2012: LifeTips.com, Inc. changed its name to ideaLaunch, Inc. in October.
• 2014: LifeTips, LLC was incorporated in September in MA.
• 2019: LifeTips, LLC was dissolved in June.

As of January 2020, ideaLaunch, Inc. is the only active company among the various properties under the ideaLaunch umbrella.

Controversial dissolution of LifeTips, LLC

According to the LifeTips, LLC corporate documents, available on the Massachusetts Secretary, the company was subject to "involuntary dissolution by court order or by the SOC." The public documents for the company include no further details regarding this event.

Websites and events operated by ideaLaunch

The ideaLaunch website advertises several different businesses. As of January 2020 the list includes WriterAccess, Content Marketing Conference, LifeTips, Content 6, and DesignerAccess.

According to its about page, LifeTips was the debut business for the ideaLaunch founder, Byron White. From its beginning, LifeTips offered advice for freelance writers, provided by freelance writers.

WriterAccess is a freelance writing marketplace that was launched in 2010, according to the timeline on the WriterAccess.com about page. The ideaLaunch about page mentions WriterAccess more frequently than any of its other properties.

The Content Marketing Conference is an annual event hosted by ideaLaunch that began in 2015. It features workshops and keynotes dedicated to content marketing.

Content 6 is a content marketing service oriented toward businesses.

DesignerAccess is, as of January 2020, the newest ideaLaunch property. According to the DesignerAccess website, the service uses the same technology as WriterAccess to connect customers with illustrators, animators, and graphic designers.
