Jan Becker-Fochler is the founder of Textbroker

According to the about page on Textbroker.com, Jan Becker-Fochler came up with the idea to search for authors, motivate them to write, rate the quality of their work, and compensate them for their effort in 2005. He later developed a preliminary version of the Textbroker platform, and in 2007, Textbroker launched as a content marketplace.

Jan Becker-Fochler is also the founder of Sario Marketing GmbH. Years before he founded Textbroker, Becker-Fohler founded Sario Marketing GmbH in September 2005. On April 3, 2019, Sario Marketing GMBH Limited Company registered as the only managing member of Textbroker International, LLC, with the Nevada Secretary of State.

Textbroker raised money from ViewPoint Capital Partners

According to a press release from TechCrunch, Textbroker received a “multi-million Euro growth financing round” from ViewPoint Capital Partners on October 24, 2010. The press release states Sario Marketing and ViewPoint Capital Partners joined forces thanks to the corporate finance consultancy agency, INOVIS Capital.

Peter Thune joined Textbroker as the CEO in 2010

Peter Thune is a content marketing and SEO expert. According to his LinkedIn account, Thune joined Textbroker as the chief executive officer in November 2010. As of December 2019, Thune is still the CEO of Textbroker International, LLC.
