Pricing

The Scripted customer base focuses on large and small agencies and enterprises. As of July 2020, Scripted.com offers three membership plans: the Self-Service Basic, the Self-Service Premium, and the Cruise Control. These plans are displayed by their monthly cost buy paid annually. According to the Plans page on the site, annual commitment is required after a 30-day trial and the content costs are not included in the Self-Serve and Cruise Control Plans.

The Self-Service Basic plan is the most basic plan designed for small businesses focused on growing brand awareness and online presence through blogs. This plan is $149 per month with content spend up to $1,000 per month. The features of this plan include 24/7 email and phone support, free blog ideas, one round of revisions, SEO-friendly content, unlimited access to the Basic Writer pool, and unlimited content ordering.

The Self-Service Premium plan is designed for agencies and marketers pursuing more complex content strategies. This plan is $299 per month with content spend up to $2,500 per month. The features of this plan include a dedicated account representative, free blog ideas, initial content strategy and quarterly reviews, SEO-friendly content, two rounds of revisions, unlimited access to the Premium Writer pool, and unlimited content ordering.

The Cruise Control plan is designed for businesses that want to give Scripted full control of their content marketing strategy to drive traffic back to their business website. This plan is $1299 per month with content spend up to $10,000 per month. The features of this plan include a dedicated account representative, free blog ideas, ongoing content strategy and quarterly reviews, personalized writer selection, SEO-friendly content, two rounds of revisions, and unlimited content ordering.

Please note, you have to choose a plan with Scripted before you can start ordering content. Once you select a plan, you still have to purchase a content piece. Scripted does not offer one-off content pieces. However, they do offer a 30-day free trial.

How it works

Scripted has a four-step process.

Step one is to join Scripted to gain access to thousands of expert writers. The first month is free!

Step two is describing your writing needs. Scripted provides a simple tool to select a brief of your content needs, choose a template or format, provide reference materials, and upload style guides. After registering, you can take a free strategy quiz if you’re not sure of your content needs.

Step three is finding your writer. Scripted SmartMatch technology helps you find expert writers in a variety of industries. The goal is to build a long-term relationship with your hand-picked writer. The Browse Copywriters feature is a more hands-on approach to finding a writer; this feature allows you to filter by subject expertise, user rating, or by reading writing samples. Before you pick a writer, you can message or call them to interview them personally.

Step four is receiving your first draft. Depending on your plan, you have approximately one week to review drafts. You can accept a draft or request a revision.
