The WritOlogy.com website is the flagship product of Writology Ltd., a Cyprus-based company that operates a number of writing services websites. The WritOlogy.com website has been active since 2015 and offers two distinct experiences for customers and writers.
How it works
Every part of the WritOlogy.com website is two-sided, one for customers and one for writers, but all the functions are basically the same. There are two different kinds of writers, freelance and "company", which interface with the customer depending on which ordering method the customer chooses.
The first ordering method is the "Writology (sic) writing service" in which the customer pays for their order as part of the order placement process, the writing service places the order with a writer automatically, and the customer has only to interact with the writer if they choose and receive their finished draft when it is complete.
The second method, called "freelance writing service," is a bidding interface in which customers propose payouts for their order and receive bids from writers. The customer can communicate and negotiate with writers before accepting one to complete their order and payments are released in phases throughout the completion process, with this method.
It is also possible for clients to browse writer profiles and choose one based on their expertise. The order form allows a customer to select either a "wishlist" of writers who will see the order or a specific writer, rather than allowing the order to be open to the entire writer pool. Many writer profiles include price lists created by the writers for specific tasks that they are expert in.
Prices
The different methods of pairing customers and writers results in different price structures.
If a customer opts for the "Writology (sic) writing service" option, they receive an up-front price based on number of pages, deadline, and sophistication. Unlike many other custom writing services, WritOlogy does not offer optional add-ons to improve the customer's experience by increasing order price.
If the customer opts for the "freelance writing service," they are allowed to choose a price range they wish to pay as part of the order placement process. They will receive bids from writers once the order is placed and may adjust their own proposed price to attract more writers if they wish.
The third method for finding prices is to look at specific writer profiles. Many writers have their own prices advertised for specific services and these vary widely based on each writer's expertise and self valuation.
Finally, WritOlogy offers pre-written texts for a fixed price. Customers can browse these at their leisure and each has its own prices, also determined by the writer who provided it.
