EssayTigers.com is an academic writing service allegedly founded by two college roommates, Paul and Jimmy, in 2013. According to the about section of EssayTigers.com, it started with an idea from Jimmy, “Would you pay someone to write your essay so that you could just forget about it?” Paul and Jimmy estimated the average college student is assigned 24 essays per year with each essay taking approximately five hours to complete. The founding roommates estimated they could save a student 120 hours per year with an essay writing service. Paul and Jimmy officially launched EssayTigers.com in November 2013 after writing a few essays around their school. The EssayTigers.com branding and name originates from the mascot of their college.

In early 2014, Paul and Jimmy were overwhelmed with orders, so hired four more writers and moved to a new office in Huntington Beach, California. Continued growth in 2014 led to a bigger office in Costa Mesa, California by 2015. EssayTigers.com makes monthly donations to the World Wildlife Organization to protect tigers, the endangered mascots of the writing service.

Writers

According to EssayTigers.com, the team consists of 45 core writers and over 100 freelance writers. A few statistics they provide about their writers include: 15% of writers have a Ph.D., 65% of writers are women, and the average age of their writers is 29 years old.

The core team of 45 writers works in the California office to complete the majority of essays. Orders are delegated to freelance writers, depending on workload and expertise.

Pricing

Pricing depends on four factors: the type of service, number of pages, academic level, and deadline of the order.

Types of services include writing from scratch, editing/proofreading, multiple-choice questions, and problem-solving. 

The prices here are presented in USD per page/question/problem. According to EssayTigers.com, one page is formatted in Arial font 12pt, double-spaced, and approximately 275 words. PowerPoint slides are priced per 1 slide = 50% of the price per page of an essay.

The academic level determines the level of the paper; the four academic levels include undergraduate, Bachelor, professional, and admission help. The admission help level is only available for custom writing and editing services.

Deadline of the order indicates when the service needs to be delivered; the shorter the deadline, the more a paper will cost. EssayTigers.com offers nine deadlines: 14 days, 10 days, 6 days, 3 days, 2 days, 24 hours, 12 hours, 6 hours, and 3 hours.
