How it works

The homepage highlights a four-step process for visitors “ready to start learning marketing.”

Step one is starting a blog. This step is for visitors who don’t have a website. The “start a blog” link sends them to an article by Neil Patel featuring a step-by-step tutorial on how to start a blog. As of April 2020, the article is titled, “How to Start a Blog That Generates $3817 a Month in 2020.”

Step two involves checking out the free SEO tool suite. The link leads visitors to the Ubersuggest tool to increase their website traffic. Ubersuggest gives visitors an overview of their domain, their top SEO pages, keyword suggestions, content ideas, and backlink data.

Step three is improving knowledge by reading Patel’s world-renowned blog. Patel’s blog discuss everything from content and social media to SEO and conversion rate optimization.

Step four is subscribing to the Marketing School podcast. The Marketing School podcast is part of the Neil Patel blog. As of April 2020, the podcast has over 1,350 episodes.
