The AssignmentShark site has been active as a standalone website since October 2019, but it previously existed as part of the EssayShark writing services website as early as September 2015. The AssignmentShark page retained the same visuals after it separated as when it was part of the EssayShark site and it continued to be owned by FrogProg Limited, a Cyprus-based company that owns several academic assistance and writing services websites.
Ordering process at AssignmentShark, an EssayShark website
The ordering process at AssignmentShark is split into two phases: placing the order and selecting a writer. The first step for a new customer is to register an account. The only required information is an email address; the process then proceeds immediately to a brief order form.
On the order form, the customer provides an assignment title, a discipline, an academic level, a deadline, and specific instructions or attachments. The customer is also required to indicate a desired price on the order form. The only guidance provided for this field is a minimum price; the customer's entry in the desired price field must meet or exceed this minimum.
After the order details are submitted, the customer is taken to their AssignmentShark account page. Here, the customer can review bids that writers submit for the newly created order. Customers are able to view writer profiles, chat with writers, and modify their order's details at this stage.
Once a customer chooses a writer, they are taken to a payment page. Funds submitted at this point are reserved and the customer will have an opportunity to review their completed order before releasing the funds to the writer, once the order is complete.
Prices on the AssignmentShark site
AssignmentShark does not offer a price table or calculator for customers to estimate their order cost before they place an order. The order form includes a field for customers to input a desired price and this field indicates a minimum that appears to be based on deadline and academic level, but there is no further guidance regarding price in advance of writers submitting bids.
Because AssignmentShark uses a bidding system, the customer is responsible for selecting a specific bid offered by one of the writers in the assignment shark system. There do not appear to be any optional add-ons for customers to select throughout the ordering process.
