Introduction

EduPeet.com is an academic writing services website. They advertise the customer's ability to view multiple writers, those writers' bids, and have preview work done before accepting a writer to work on a particular order.

Full story

The EduPeet site has been active as a writing service since 2018. It is owned by FrogProg Limited, a Cyprus-based company that operates a number of different writing services websites.

How it works

EduPeet uses a bidding style system to connect writers with customers. In this system, the customer is responsible for choosing a writer and paying that writer's proposed price for a particular order.

The ordering process is broken into four parts. The first two parts relate to order instructions. Initially, whether a customer is logged in or a first-time user, they must provide an email address, document type, page count, and deadline. From here, the customer is taken to a more extensive order page that gathers details such as service type, subject area, citation style, and specific instructions or attachments. There is also an option on this page to select the first qualified writer that bids on the order, rather than requiring the customer to choose from different writers. Selecting this option bypasses the third stage.

If the customer elects to choose their writer, they are taken to the third stage. Here, a list of bids for the order will be populated in real time. The customer is able to view writer profiles, communicate with them, and request preview content be created before accepting a bid.

After a bid has been accepted, the customer must reserve money to pay for the order. This money must be reserved from a balance that the customer loads into their EduPeet account through a secure, third-party payment processor.

Once funds have been reserved, work on the order begins. Each order is broken into two or more parts, depending on the number of pages ordered, and the customer is able to review the work completed for each part before releasing the funds for that portion and progressing the order to the next part. The customer is able to communicate directly with the writer throughout this process and is able to review the finished work before releasing the final payment. Finished drafts are made available for download through the customer's EduPeet account page.

Prices

Because EduPeet uses a bidding model, a customer cannot be sure what they will be charged for any particular order until it is placed and bids come in from writers. There is some consistency between bids for a particular order so it is likely that there is a pricing structure based on deadline and number of pages that may also take academic level, document type, and subject area into account, but this is not clear.

After an order has been placed, it is possible to pay for a specific order to be featured, making it more visible to writers.

Refund policy

What happens if you are unhappy with writing services from Edupeet.com and want your money back? We looked for a clear refund policy page and found the following.

false">

No, this writing service doesn't seem to offer refunds.

"All the funds loaded to your My.EduPeet.com account, or reserved for a specific order, which have not yet been released to your writer, are 100% refundable, until you proceed to the last stage/part of an order. The payments used for a specific order will be refunded to your account in case you cancel the order (excluding payments for the additional service "Featured order"). You can, however, only claim back the amount that has not yet been paid to the writer using the "Release" button."

Other useful information

There does not appear to be any refund policy related to satisfaction, but a client is able to refuse further payment on an order at any time, cancelling the order, and have their balance refunded from their EduPeet account balance at any time, provided that money has not been reserved for an order.
